They're a clumsy, extremely dated method of playing burnt disc backups, but the method of doing so is so invasive that it screws a lot of things up- the Homebrew Channel simply refuses to install properly on systems with DARKCORP installed. You're best off starting with a fresh mod, but you'll have to remove DARKCORP and the cMIOS first. I'm not sure if this is a standard hack or not, and since it isn't updating properly, should I try to repair it or start over? Does it make a difference which process I use to remod it? It also came with an external hdd that I know it has files on it, but when I plug it into my computer, it says it has to format the drive to read it. I've made sure that I have everything disconnected from the Wii before I even turn it on. When I try to update the SNES and NES emulators I get the same memory error that I get when trying to update HBC. There is also something installed called DarkCorp and I couldn't find much on here about it. I tried this a couple of times, and after I got to the install homebrew option, I selected that, then I got what looks to be a memory error. The Wii is up to 4.3, but HBC is only on 1.0.8, so everytime I open it, there is a popup wanting me to update to 1.1.0. I recently bought a hacked Wii and I have no idea what's been done to it or how it was hacked. ![]()
